Visitors

We look forward to having you worship with us!  Below, you will find some helpful information.

9:00 a.m. WORSHIP SERVICE in the Sanctuary. Worship begins at 9 a.m. with First Christian Café following worship, which is a time of fellowship to enjoy coffee, juice, a light breakfast, and conversation. You will find more information on worship here.

NURSERY. Our nursery is located in the first-floor education wing on the right side of the hallway.  Our nursery staff is experienced, pleasant, and have all passed background checks.  Each child should be signed into the nursery with pertinent information (parent contact information, food allergies, care needs, etc.).

WHEN TO TALK. If the congregation is invited to speak or read during the service, the worship bulletin has the words you should say in bold type. An example is the “Call to Worship” during the service.

CHILDREN’S BLESSING. Children 3 years – grade 2 are invited forward at the beginning of the service for a special blessing.  We offer an age-appropriate and engaging worship experience for children each week.  After the children’s blessing, your child is welcome to stay with you for sanctuary worship or to attend Children Worship & Wonder with our wonderful volunteers.  To learn more about Children’s Worship & Wonder, check here.

COMMUNION. In the Disciples tradition, we celebrate communion every week, partaking in the Bread of Life and the Cup of Salvation.  We recognize that the invitation to the Lord’s Table comes from Christ, and we welcome all to participate.  Our communion is open to all believers in Jesus Christ.  Most weeks, Communion is served by passing trays through the pews.  As the trays are passed, take a piece of bread and the cup, eating and drinking as you are ready.

SUNDAY SCHOOL. Sunday School classes meet from 10:30 until  11:30 a.m. Classes are offered for varying ages, faith journeys, and life stages.  Visitors are welcome any time in each of the classes.  To learn more about adult Sunday School, click here. To learn more about children’s Sunday School, click here.
