On Saturday, August 16, sixteen women met at Field House for the annual CWF brunch. Janey Burns made arrangements for the meal and made opening remarks.Connie Ford presented a program based on the theme of the 2008-09 monthly studies, “Learning to Listen for God".
As we begin a new
year, we want to invite all ladies who belong to First Christian Church or who
visit with us to become active in our women’s programs.We have two groups meeting monthly from
September through June; during the summer we meet together once to install our
officers and plan the year’s activities.In addition to the two “traditional” CWF/DWM groups, some of the younger
ladies have formed an exciting new group called WEAVES.

The remaining weeks in 2007 will be
busy ones for all of us at First Christian.
We will have group meetings on the usual schedule in November. The
DaytimeGroup will meet at the
church on Tuesday, November 6, at 1:00
p.m.The Evening Group will meet at on Tuesday, November 13, at
the home of Janet Luckett, 7050
231.All FCC ladies and their friends are invited to attend our meetings,
which include worship, study, mission, and Christian fellowship.
